New Delhi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in New Delhi. Thackeray was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Ashok Chavan and Milind Narvekar amongst others.
The delegation led by Maharashtra Chief Minister discussed a host of issues with the Prime Minister which included Maratha and OBC reservation in the state, land acquisition for Metro Car shed at Kanjurmarg, GST compensation to Maharashtra, issues related to crop insurance and bulk drug park.
Uddhav Thackeray also requested the Prime Minister to revise the NDRF norms for the compensation to the people affected by natural disasters. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction about this meeting.
