Bhubaneswar, Odisha Cricket Association will conduct a Women’s League from 15th January 2021. A pool of 90 players have been divided into six teams and the matches will be played in round robin league (single legbasis).
54 women cricketers who had represented Odisha in the Senior & Junior Category along with 36 players who have been scouted from the ongoing Women Cricket Talent Hunt Program have been added to form a pool of 90 players.
To conduct these matches OCA will depute 24 Match Officials. OCA will be adhering to all the COVID regulations and all the players & officials involved in it will be subjected to RTPCR test for COVID-19. All the matches will be played at various venues across Bhubaneswar and players will be accommodated at KIIT Campus.
Apart from that, a Women’s Exhibition Cricket match will be played on13th January 2021 between Odisha Pink and Odisha Blue. The match will be streamed live on FanCode from 11:30 am.
