Two wheeler Major, Hero MotoCorp,capped-off the Calendar Year (CY) 2018 with yet another significant benchmark, by selling a record 8,039,472 units of motorcycles and scooters in the January-December period.In December 2018, Hero MotoCorp sold 453,985 units, compared to 472,731 units in the corresponding month last year (December 2017).

Rich tributes paid to Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir police who attained martyrdom when unidentified gunmen shot him in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Tuesday. SPO Sameer Ahmad Mir was critically injured when some unidentified gunmen fired at him from close range at Hanjan, Pulwama last evening. The injured was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.

(UNI) Accusing Congress of delaying the judicial process on the Ram Temple, PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday made it clear that an Ordinance on the Temple can be considered only after legal process on the issue is completed. He said, ‘I want to appeal to the Congress not to use their lawyers to delay the judicial process on the Ram Temple.’

Listing out the ‘broken promises’ made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress party on Tuesday came out with sharp criticism and said the Prime Minister have only ‘peddled lies’ through his ‘staged interview’. Addressing media persons the Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said India wanted to know the progress of 10 top promises by the Prime Minister.

(UNI) As many as 37 people were killed in an attack on a village in central Mopti region of Mali, local officials said. According to the officials, many homes were burned in Koulogon village. The incident happened at about 05:00 GMT on Tuesday, a statement said. The attackers were believed to be traditional hunters. An investigation to nab the accused have been launched. Last year, hundreds of people died in clashes between Dogon hunters and members of the largely nomadic Fula ethnic group. The clashes are often over access to land and water.
