Moscow, Jan 9 (UNI) India will receive S-400 air defense systems within the time frame agreed under contract with Russia, without delays, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Wednesday. “Our commitments under the contract will be fulfilled. India will receive the systems on time, at the agreed date and without any delays. Therefore, the national security of your country will be strengthened,” Ryabkov told reporters. Mysuru, Jan 9 (UNI) The extension of the Chennai-Bengaluru Express upto Mysuru has been approved by the Railway Board. According to a statement issued by the Railway Board, the train will have commercial stoppages at Kengeri, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya and Pandavapura on the extended portion. Train number 12609 will leave Chennai at 1.35 p.m. and arrive in Mysuru at 11 p.m. on return direction Train 12610 will leave Mysuru at 4.45 a.m. and reach Chennai at 2.30 p.m.
Srinagar, Jan 9 (UNI) Security forces on Wednesday launched a Cordon and Search Operation in south Kashmir district of Shopian. Following specific information about presence of militants, a joint CASO was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, Army and CRPF in Heff in Shopian this morning.
