The SIT, probing the killing of journalist Gauri Lankesh, has named Hindu right wing outfit Sanatan Sanstha in its additional charge sheet filed before a Bengaluru court. The SIT submitted the 9,235-page charge sheet in the Principal Civil and Sessions court here Friday.

Ram Sutar, the man who designed the tallest statue of the world has been assigned by a non-profit Buddhist body in Gujrat to design a 80 ft statue of Buddha in Gandhinagar. Sutar, in his early 90s, has jobs in kitty designing statue of Shivaji (400ft) and Ambedkar (250ft) to be installed in Mumbai.
There is a debate over the legalising of marijuana for in India. The advocacy floated by few scientists and the Congress MP S. Tharoor . Reports say that scientists have told that they are making efforts to advocate its legalisation and a report in this regard shall be prepared soon. The licence of Air Odisha has been cancelled by the Civil Aviation Ministry on the ground of poor performance. It automatically stops it’s sixty air routes . A dead whale found across Indonesian shore has given a wake up call. It’s stomach contained 5.9 kg of plastic waste which include 115 cups, four bottles, 25 bags, 2 flip-flops and about a thousand other pieces. It was not ascertained if the cause of death of it was the waste or not.
It was no miracle but human effort and an exemplary achievement that the ‘ leaning tower of Pisa’ has straighten up considerably after years of hard work. In fact a restoration work had started 17 years back . Leaning tower leans about half a degree less and had lost 4 cms of the tilt , according to the University of Pisa. This tower which dates back to 1173 started leaning after construction.
