Bihar Chief Minister and JD (U) president Nitish Kumar once again skipped Yoga programme organised on the occasion of International Yoga Day even as ministers and leaders from his party and BJP leaders participated in the event.
The main function was organised at Patliputra Sporting Complex in Kankarbagha
locality in the state capital where state governor Lalji Tandon, deputy chief minister
Sushil Kumar Modi, BJP MLAs and MLCs and JD (U) ministers performed Yoga to
mark International Yoga Day.
A large number of school and college students also performed Yoga on the occasion.
It is for the first time JD (U) participated in any public function along with BJP on the
occasion of International Yoga Day albeit chief minister Mr Kumar once again skipped
the event.
Kumar on earlier occasions had said that he also regularly practised Yoga but he
did not want to demonstrate it publicly.
