Termed as a serious security lapse in a high security zone, a bullet was found in the hundi of world famous Guruvayoor Sree Krishna Swamy temple in Thrissur.
The shrine is known as ‘Dwaraka’ of the South.
Police said Guruvayur Temple police filed a case on Tuesday after finding the bullet which can be used in 9 MM Pistol.
The bullet was found in a hundi placed in front of temple mast. The matter came to the light when Devaswom employees were counting the offerings received in the hundi.
Police began analysing of CCTV footage of the last month to trace evidence
