Colombia international goalkeeper Camilo Vargas has joined Mexico’s Atlas from Deportivo Cali, the Colombian first division side said.
The 30-year-old travelled to Mexico on Friday and will undergo a medical on the weekend, Deportivo said in a statement.
Atlas finished 13th in the 2018-19 Liga MX Clausura standings with just six wins and a draw from 17 matches.
They will begin the new Apertura season with a home clash against Juarez on July 19.
Vargas, who joined Deportivo from Atletico Nacional in 2016 after a loan spell at Argentinos Juniors, has been capped five times for Colombia and was a member of the Cafeteros squad at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.
