(UNI) The Congress on Wednesday set up the election committee, campaign committee, manifesto committee, and the publicity committee for the Assembly polls in Maharashtra.
According to a statement by AICC general secretary K C Venugopal, ‘ Congress president Rahul Gandhi has approved the proposal of the coordination committee, pradesh election committee, campaign committee, media coordination committee, manifesto committee, publicity committee and election management team for the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress committee.’
The 29-member election coordination committee, chaired by AICC general secretary in-charge Mallikarjun Kharge and comprises senior leaders Ashok Chavan, Prithviraj Chavan, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Mukul Wasnik and Rajni Patil while the Pradesh election committee Will have 31 members.
