Ahmedabad, Feb 6 (UNI) Under the impact of an upper air cyclonic circulation induced by the western disturbances, light rainfall might take place at isolated places in northern Gujarat in the next 48 hours, Director of IMD center Jayanta Sarkar informed here on Wednesday.
He said that due to the cyclonic circulation induced by the western disturbances over South West Rajasthan and adjoining North Gujarat, there might be light to very light rainfall at isolated places, especially Banaskantha district and Kutch region. There would be cloudy to partly cloudy sky at several places.
He also said that due to roughness of the sea and strong currents, the fishermen of Gujarat have been advised to not to venture in to the sea along the coast of the state on Wednesday and Thursday.About the temperatures he said that for the next 48 hours, there won’t be much change in it and after that the temperatures are likely to fall a bit.
