DD India in top five in English News Genre as per latest BARC India data

DD India, a Doordarshan channel which is targeted at the Indian audiences living abroad, is in top five in the English News Genre as per the latest BARC India data.
DD India made a surprise entry on the second position, in the third week of BARC India, between January 12 and January 18, 2019.
While republic TV was at top position with BARC ratings of 667, DD India was on second position with ratings of 557 and times now at third position with ratings of 511.
Chairman of the Prasar Bharati, A.Surya Prakash and its CEO Shashi Shekhar congratulated DD India on this achievement.
In a tweet, Mr Prakash said,” DD India now in top five in English News Genre as per latest BARCIndia data Hearty Congratulations to Team @DDNewsLive for making this happen.’’
Mr Shekhar also congratulated DD India on achieving this distinction.”Congratulations to the DDNewsLive English Team for DD India making it to the Top 5 channels within the English News Genre per latest data from BARCIndia,” he tweeted.
