New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh, along with her husband Robert Vadra, cast her vote at a polling booth in Sardar Patel Vidyalaya at Lodhi Estate of New Delhi constituency.
Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal, with his family, also exercised their adult franchise in the National Capital and also urged Delhiites to come and vote.
“Voting is our right and responsibility. I urge you all to exercise this right!,” LG Baijal said in a tweet.
BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ramlal, who is the interlink between the party and its ideological mentor RSS cast his vote at Nirman Bhawan polling booth in the National Capital.
“I urge all the voters to ensure their participation in this festival of democracy. Single vote matters for the unity, security and the development of this country,” Mr Ram Lal said.
After casting his vote, senior BJP leader and chief strategist Ram Madhav said, “Voted, for continuity of change.”
Along with six other states of the country, polling to seven Lok Sabha seats is underway in National Capital.
