Odisha State Election Commission today released the notification for third phase general elections in the state for six Lok Sabha and 42 Assembly seats.
According to the poll schedule issues by the Commission, nomination filing for these seats will begin from today and continue till April 4. The papers will be verified on April 5 and the candidates can withdraw their nomination until April 8.
Elections for the third phase will be held on April 23.
In the third phase, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha constituencies will go to polls. The 42 assembly constituencies that come under these Lok Sabha seats will also go to polls in the same schedule.
