The Congress party has named Gopal Sahu as its candidate from the Hazaribagh Lok Sabha seat.
The name of Mr Sahu was cleared by the Central Election Committee of the Congress Party today to contest the seat.
As part of mahagathbandhan in Jharkhand the Congress Party is fielding its candidates on 7 Lok Sabha seats including Hazaribagh Dhanbad Ranchi Chatra Lohardaga Khunti and Chaibasa.
Voting is scheduled in Hazaribagh on May 6 during the second phase of elections in Jharkhand. (UNI)
