Iron fist policy: After 30 yrs, no separatist call for shutdown in Valley during HM visit

Separatists had gained notoriety for shutting down the Valley each time a representative from the Centre used to visit Kashmir.
A senior official in the security setup said here on condition of anonymity that the development was the
result of the iron-fist policy of the government against terror and those funding it along with stern focus on implementing manifesto promises on Article 370 and Article 35(A).
Mr Shah had arrived in Srinagar on Wednesday on his first official visit to Jammu and Kashmir, .
He chaired several rounds…picking up from para six, line one of DI 5, Administration-JK-Amit Shah.
