My character of Vishwas in ‘Navrangi Re’ is very relatable : Aamir Ali

He has endeared himself to audiences across the country with his ‘closer to life ‘ characters in many of his shows. Aamir Ali is now getting praise for his character in his latest show ‘Navrangi Re’ , currently being aired on Colors.

Aamir Ali, who was in Delhi recently to promote his show , feels character of Vishwas being played by him is very relatable.

‘My character of Vishwas is very relatable because he wants to do something for the betterment of the society, starting with his own mohalla,’Aamir Ali said.

Talking about the show, Aamir Ali said, “It’s a great show with a meaningful message and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year.”

Vishwaas, the hero of this 26-episode television drama series, played by actor Aamir Ali, is a struggling TV journalist always looking for career-defining ‘breaking news’. In this hunt for one story, he discovers something bigger- the gateway to bring about change in his mohalla!

On his visit to Delhi, Aamir said, ‘I have always loved Delhi. One thing that I love the most about the city is the irresitable food like Chole Bathure, Chaats etc. People in Delhi are quite warm and it was fun talking to my fans in Delhi.’

Produced by Swastik Productions, ‘Navrangi Re!’ is the story of a lively mohalla in a town in Northern India full of quirky and endearing characters.

It’s has a gamut of colourful characters- from a talking wall to a rich and ruthless diva to a spoilt brat to a strong female lead that refuses to give in, and an underlying monster that’s growing underground.

It is the laugh-a-minute story of a community living on the edge, teetering from one crisis to another and then deciding to take control of their lives.

It is entertainment all the way using an ensemble cast made up of thespian actors such as Susmita Mukherjee and Raju Kher, and promising new talent like Vaishnavi Dhanraj, Manmohan Tiwari and others.

Paired opposite Aamir Ali is Vaishnavi Dhanraj , who plays role of Chitralekha.
