Rajkumari Pragya found overall poll satisfactory with little incidents

Rajkumari Pragya Devvarman expressed satisfaction about overall poll functioning though pointed out some initial glitches and machinery skirmishes expressing her view about on going poll at local party office in the subdivision of Ambassa in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here this afternoon.

In her expression, Pragya remarked, “The overall poll situation is quite satisfactory. But in early period some BJP mafias tried to destabilize poll process which got handled by administration. In some polling stations EVM malfunctioning also created problems. But now the situation is under control. I am very much confident about my victory.”

According to sources, EVM malfunctioning created critical situation in polling station 14 of 46 Surma assembly segment where vote delayed one hour in the beginning and also delayed for one and half hour at noon.

According to the reports of the Returning Officer, 45.70% votes casted in the East Tripura parliamentary constituency. (UNI)
