Reliance General Insurance Company, a Reliance Capital company, has recently launched a digital campaign for instant insurance renewal with the new Reliance Selfi App InsuranceKaNayaAPProach.
The all new Reliance Selfi smart app aims at speeding and simplifying insurance claims, policy renewal processes and provides complete end-to-end solutions related to insurance. In just a few clicks! It tells people to #DoInsuranceYourself.
The campaign is a series of three films that pits old school thinking against the new generation. Every film features a father harrowed about insurance renewals and claims who pounces on his son at random places looking for solutions. The cool and composed son tells him about the Selfi app that does everything on the go! The father although impressed, doesn’t let his son take the credit and praises the app alone. The communication uses random situations with a funny father-son banter to put its message across effectively.
Rakesh Jain, CEO, Reliance General Insurance, said, ”We want people to drop the older ways of transacting insurance and embrace simpler digital platforms. So conceptually we created the father-son relationship to depict the change and linked typical insurance issues like claim documentation, policy renewal, to sharing real
time claim updates and video assist and deliver the message with humour.”
