(UNI) An RTI activist was allegedly shot dead by unidentified miscreants in the Sarailakhansi area of this district in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
Police said that Bal Govind Singh (50), resident of Badhuwa Godam was sitting at a tea shop, situated in Chatti when four assailants, riding on two motorcycles, shot him multiple times, leading to his on the spot death. However, the motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
