The reported death of the tiger in Satkosia, which was recently brought from Madhya Pradesh has again stirred the hornets’ nest among the forest department. Several excuses are being sported to assess the reason behind the sudden death of the tiger and the most recent being is infection caused in the neck part of the animal whose carcass was discovered perhaps days after the death. However, team under the monitoring lens of the chief wildlife warden is being conducted.
Some sources lend credence to the hunch that the locals of Satkosia region who were already upset by the alleged killings by Sundari tigress, may have designed the acts of killing the male tiger recent trans-located. In nut shell the handling of the first ever tiger trans-location by the wildlife department has miserably failed.
