Senior Biju Janata Dal leader and former cabinet minister in Naveen Patnaik council, Rghunath Mohanty has resigned from the party. Mohanty has alleged that the BJD has lost its enture direction and dispensed with all ideals. He has alleged that the party has departed from the ideals of late Biju Patnaik and is now in the grip of few individuals only. On Saturday, Mohanty had already resigned from the post of chairman of the Lift Irrigation wing in the state.
