UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Thursday called on Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla.
Mrs Gandhi called on the Lok Sabha Speaker at his office in Parliament house.
Though details of the meeting were not available but the party sources said it was a courtesy call.
Sources said that during her meeting with Mr Birla, Mrs Gandhi congratulated him for his election to the post of Speaker.
