New Delhi: Over 172 crore 29 lakh doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive so far. The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry today said, more than 46 lakh 82 thousand Covid vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours to the eligible beneficiaries.
The country reported over 50 thousand new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at six lakh 10 thousand 443.
The Union Health Ministry said, more than one lakh 36 thousand Covid patients have recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 97.37 percent. More than four crore 14 lakh patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the country so far.
The Ministry said, more than 74 crore 93 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far. More than 14 lakh 50 Covid test have been conducted in the last 24 hour.
