With the death of one more person on Saturday, the death toll in Uttar Pradesh hooch tragedy has climbed to 70. The victim died at a hospital in Kushinagar. The Government said about 1,393 treatment packages are available for the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). The Union Government has launched PMJAY on September 23, 2018. It is a centrally-sponsored scheme and entirely funded by Government.
