The Central Reserve Police Force on Friday observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to the CRPF personnel, who were martyred in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. A European Parliament delegation will travel to Venezuela on Sunday to meet with opposition leader Juan Guaido, who proclaimed himself the country’s interim president amid political turmoil, media have reported. The delegation would include six parliamentarians who would stay in Caracas through Tuesday, the EFE news agency reported on Thursday. As many as 18 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred and several others injured on Thursday when militants triggered a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blastat Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. Militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the blast.
