The Central Reserve Police Force on Friday observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to the CRPF personnel, who were martyred in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. It paid homage to martyrs across all formations. The CRPF flag will remain half mast today in every CRPF establishments throughout the country. The mortal remains of the martyred soldiers are being brought to Delhi by Air Force transport aircraft C-17 Globemaster after the wreath-laying ceremony at Srinagar. A European Parliament delegation will travel to Venezuela on Sunday to meet with opposition leader Juan Guaido, who proclaimed himself the country’s interim president amid political turmoil, media have reported. The delegation would include six parliamentarians who would stay in Caracas through Tuesday, the EFE news agency reported on Thursday. As many as 18 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred and several others injured on Thursday when militants triggered a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blastat Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
