DAV Chandrasekharpur Runners Up
In the recently concluded CBSE National Girls Shooting Championship at Karnal, Haryana the 3 member girls team of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur bagged the runners up title and won silver medal. The team of Manyata Singh, Shravani Das and Shivangi Meher, all class 7 scored 1078 points where as a team from Ranchi became the Champion with 1092 points. The team participated in the event under the guidance of Sports teacher Anand Chandra Das. The Principal of the school Dr K C Satapathy among others congratulated the winners for bringing laurels for the school as well as the state.
