PM to Visit UK: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a visit to the United Kingdom and the Maldives from July 23 to 26, with the aim of further deepening bilateral ties and expanding strategic cooperation.
In the first leg of the visit, Prime Minister Modi will travel to the United Kingdom, where he is scheduled to hold talks with the newly elected Prime Minister, Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer. The two leaders will discuss ways to strengthen the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, which has seen significant progress in recent years. Key areas of collaboration include trade and investment, technology, innovation, defence, education, research, sustainability, health, and people-to-people ties.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also call on His Majesty King Charles III.

Following his engagements in the UK, Prime Minister Modi will visit the Maldives at the invitation of President H.E. Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to participate in the 60th Independence Day celebrations of the island nation. This year also marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Maldives.
In his interactions with President Muizzu and other Maldivian leaders, the Prime Minister will focus on advancing the joint vision of a Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership and enhancing cooperation for peace, prosperity, and stability in the Indian Ocean Region.
Expressing confidence ahead of the visit, Prime Minister Modi said the engagements will yield tangible outcomes, benefiting the people of both countries and furthering India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy.
