In a tragic bus accident in Karnataka 25 were feared dead when the bus fell into a canal in Pndavapura today. The incident took place near Kangadamaradi as the bus was bound for Mandya. Several injured were admitted to the hospital as locals worked hard to pull the bus from the water. The bus was carrying about about 30 people when it plunged into the canal.

The licence of Air Odisha has been cancelled by the Civil Aviation Ministry on the ground of poor performance. It automatically stops it’s sixty air routes . This was brought to the notice by the Director of the Biju Patnaik International Airport Suresh Chandra Hota. The airlines had failed to operate 75 % of the flights which led to the cancellation of the licence.

At  last the former BJD veteran Damodar Rout has   launched of his new political outfit as Biju Samata Kranti Dal(BSKD). He made it public at a press  on Friday with Braja Kishore Trpathy (of Samata Kranti Dal) and Jangeswar Babu present in the meet. However, conspicuous by his absence was Baijayant Panda who was touted once to be a probable associate of Rout.

It is yet to be known as who are others to follow Rout who claimed today at the press meet that, the BSKD will espouse the ideals of late Biju Patnaik and tro to put a halt on the monopoly of the BJD regime in Odisha.

It has happened in a hotel room in Noida where a youth, Mohit, was reported to have killed himself after shooting at his girl friend. The incident took place on Thursday. The deceased’s brother has however dubbed the entire incident as designed by some one. Mohit’s brother and family are waiting for his father to arrive who will file the FIR.
